About Us

Justin is a proud husband to Nenada and father to their son Luka Jude. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico and his MBA from Louisiana State University.  Cutting his teeth in the restaurant industry at an early age, he developed a passion for bartending and quality chef skills. At parties he can often be found with a cocktail shaker in one hand and a spatula in another serving up dope drinks and chef inspired dishes.  In the mornings he can be found red eyed and half asleep at the espresso machine searching for the meaning of life in the bottom of a hot cup of java.

Nenada is a Serbian transplant by way of Florida by way of Colorado and is now proudly rooted in the Land of Enchantment. She is the wife of Justin and proud Mama of Luka Jude. Her Serbian decent makes her as spicy as the Paprika that runs through her veins. Have you ever met an Eastern European? She's all business and that's what we love about her. She holds the fort down in the Huffmon household and is the brains of the operations at Roots. She has an ability to take wild concepts from all of us and make those dreams a reality. She has Marie Kondo-ed not only her home life, but our cute little shop as well, and has quite the knack for making any space feel like home. Through her Serbian roots, Nenada has a great appreciation for strong coffee, delicious food, and time spent with the ones she loves.

Dana is a three time cancer survivor. She's the Chuck Norris of cancer survivors. Cancer literally shivers at the mention of her name.  She is a vivacious energy that brightens those around her. She can often be found sipping Chiltons on a nice deck somewhere soaking up a beautiful evening in New Mexico. She has an innate ability to speak in cursive and will have you belly laughing and in tears. She is a fierce advocate for the ones she loves. Her optimism can hardly be matched and she is a joy to be around. She is always willing to undertake new exciting endeavors and ideas and her sense of style can be found in our products.

Art is an International man of mystery. No one knows what in the hell he does for his day job and we don't even bother to ask.  He and Dana met over tacos and margaritas 4 years ago and have been inseparable since. He has a sweet tooth that is insatiable.  He loves spending his free time at the lake and plays a mean round of golf. Most mornings he can be found pondering the mysteries of the world over a warm cup of coffee heavily sweetened with a healthy dose of cream.
